No ....... !!! There is lack of scientific evidence as to the efficacy of aspirin in the prevention of deep vein thrombosis. Aspirin is widely used to help prevent blood clots in arteries which can cause strokes and heart attacks, and has no use in the prevention of blood clots in the leg veins. This is because the mechanism by which the clot starts in the vein is different and aspirin has less of an effect. |
